To Bury the Dead by Ignacio Martínez de Pisón is an investigation of a brutal political murder and fascinating literary feud hidden by the dust of the Spanish Civil War. The original Spanish version won the International Rodolfo Walsh Prize for Non-Fiction and the Dulce Chacón Prize for Spanish Narrative 2006, and the English version was launched for the first time at the Guardian Hay Festival on 24 May 2009.
