On the evening of Thursday 13 August, Aardvark whole food store, Carmarthen, opened its doors to the literary world, 35 lovers of reading packed the shop to its rafters to hear Glen Peters read and talk about his debut novel. Sharon Morgan, Librarian at Carmarthen coordintes six reading groups accross the county and many of their members enjoyed the event.

4-18 July was the Oxfam Bookfest; for two weeks Oxfam shops across Britain hosted an awesome array of activites and events. Deborah Kay Davies, winner wales Book of the Yera 2009 read with Fflur Dafydd at the Wales Millennium Centre. To check out more, click here.
